I love going for spur of the moment dinners with PG. Our visit to He Says, She Says was one such night.
I had driven past the new restaurant a few times, and had read that they had recently launched their new dinner service, originally opening as just a breakfast/brunch spot.
Walking in, the decor was definitely impressive and inviting. Although, being a Sunday night I would have expected there to have been a lot more people dining with us. PG and I were pretty much the only ones that night, apart from another small group that walked in a little later on.
The Verdict
I really hope for the sake of this great restaurant, that the lack of customers on the night we visited wasn’t any indication of whether they will survive in the long run. Every dish was perfectly flavoured, unique, and cooked very well. A lot of thought has been put into the menu, and from what I can see they frequently change their menu as well, which is always a great thing when attracting repeat visits from satisfied customers…including myself. Our waiter was very friendly, and was quite knowledgeable when it came to the wine list. The atmosphere was very cosy despite being empty, a testament to the lovely decor in the restaurant . I highly recommend a visit, especially if you live locally.
